Certificate Courses

• Certificate Course in ‘Fabric Painting’ was organized by the Dept. in collaboration with Dept. of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur from October 15 to December 25, 2016. Ms Sonu Sarote conducted the sessions.
• Certificate Course in ‘Cookery Certificate Course’ was organized in collaboration with Adult and Continuing Education, RTM Nagpur University Nagpur from Dec. 5, 2015 to Feb 5, 2016. College Alumni Ms. Preeti Bolgundewar conducted the Certificate Course.
• Certificate Course in ‘Cookery and Food Preservation’ was organized by the Dept. in collaboration with Dept. of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur from November 15, 2014 to January 15, 2015. The course was conducted by Mrs. Arti Tiwari.
• Certificate Course in ‘Food Preservation’ was organized by the Dept. from August 22, 2013 to August 26, 2013. The course was conducted Mr. G. Mahore and Mrs. S. Kulkarni from Food and Nutrition Dept. of India.
• Certificate Course in ‘Cookery and Food Preservation’ was organized by the Dept. in collaboration with Dept. of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur from January 15, 2014 to March 15, 2014. The course was conducted by Mrs. Arti Tiwari

Day and Week Celebration

• National Breast Feeding Week was celebrated in the Dept. On this occasion interactive session on ‘Sujan Matrutva Ki Or, was organized on August 3, 2016. Mrs. Shilpa Sathe, Counselor, Vaibhav Academy was the resource person. 44 Students of B.A. II were benefitted through the same.
• National Nutrition Week was celebrated in the Dept. On this occasion Poster Competition was organized on ‘Right Nutrition: Key of Development’ from September 1 to 7, 2015. In this competition 11 students of the institution participated.
• National Breast Feeding Week was celebrated in the Dept. On this occasion Quiz Competition was organized on August 8, 2016. It was organized in collaboration with Ministry of Child and Women Development, Govt of India. 55 students of the institution participated in the competition.

Workshops on Skill Development

• Workshop on ‘Flower Making’ was organized by the Dept. on September 27, 2017 for the students of B.A. I. Mrs. Prerana Ratnaparkhi guided the students. 70 students benefitted through the same.
• Workshop on ‘Instant Rangoli Making’ was organized by the Dept. on July 2, 2016. It was conducted by Dr. Smita Pattarkine. B. A. I students participated in the same.
• Workshop on ‘Salad Decoration’ was organized by the Dept. on July 20, 2016 for the students of B. A. Part II. It was conducted by Dr. Smita Pattarkine and Mrs. Chetna Bhatt.
• Workshop on ‘Menu Card Making’ was organized by the Dept. on July 22, 2016 for the students of B. A. II.
• Workshop on ‘Chart Making’ was organized by the Dept. on August 12, 2016 for the students of B. A. III.
• Workshop on ‘Flower Arrangement’ was organized on August 27, 2016 for the students of B. A. I. The Workshop was conducted by Dr. Sunita Sharma, Member of Garden Club, Nagpur.
• Workshop on “Knitting Sample making on Knitting machine” was organized by the Dept. on October 23, 2015 for faculty and resource person was Mrs.Jyoti Nand.
• Workshop on ‘Rakhi Making’ was organized on August 2, 2014. 26 students of the institution attended the same.
• Workshop on ‘Flower Arrangement’ was organized by the Dept. on August 22, 2014. 23 Students of B.A. III participated in the same.
• Workshop on ‘Rangoli Making’ was organized by the Dept. on July 10,2014. It was conducted by Dr. Smita Pattarkine. B. A. I students participated in the same.

Visits

• Visit to ‘Flower Show’ organized by Garden Club Nagpur was arranged by the Dept. on September 11, 2016. 18 students of B. A. Part I participated in the same.
• Visit to ‘Arogyam Pradarshani’ organized by Indian Medical Association, Ladies Wing, Nagpur was arranged on Sept. 11, 2016. 18 students of B. A. Part I participated in the same.
• Educational Visit to S.B. Jain Institute of Management was organized by the Dept. on December 12, 2015. 40 students of B. A. III participated in the same.
