Workshops and Training on Skill Development –

Workshop on ‘Uses of Sewing Machine’ was organized by the Dept. on 21st July 2016. It was conducted by Mr. Pawan Proprietor Pawan Enterprises. All students of Fashion Designing B.A. I, II, III attended the same.
Workshop on Sari Draping and Hair Style organized by Tarun Bharat was attended by 10 students from Fashion Designing on 20th August 2016.
Guest Lecture on Entrepreneurship was organized by the Dept. on 20th July 2016. The resource person for the same was Ms. Johana Anthony alumni of the department.
‘ Bandhani Skarf and Roti Rumal’ Workshop was organized on 10th September 2015 under the guidance of Ms. Chetna Bhatt and Ms. Arti Tiwari.
Workshop on Bag Making organized by Dept. on 8th October 2014 under the guidance of Ms. Arti Tiwari .
Workshop on ‘Rebeautification of Old Bed sheets into New’ was undertaken by Ms. Chetna Bhatt and Ms. Arti Tiwari on 12th October 2013.

Visits –

Visit to Weavers Centre was organized by the dept. 10th October 2016 under the guidance of Ms. Chetna Bhatt and Ms. Arti Tiwari. 36 students participated in the same.
Visit to Handicraft Exhibition on 09th August 2016 was organized. Total 20students took part in the same.
A visit to ‘Flower Show’ organized by the Dept. The Garden Club, Nagpur was undertaken by Dr. Smita Pattarkine and Ms. Chetna Bhatt.
Visit to Handicraft Exhibition on 10th October 2015 was organized for B.A.II yr. 10 students participated in the same.
Visit to Empress Mall was organized by the Dept. on 01st January 2015 for the Students of B.A. I yr.
Visit to Weavers Centre was organized by the dept. 11thOctober 2014 under the guidance of Ms. Chetna Bhatt and Ms. Arti Tiwari. 36 students participated in the same.10 students of B.A. II yr participated in the same.
